The aim of the project is to promote harmonic development of families fostering their active participation in civil society.
Within the project development of NGO initiative groups is planned, involvement of new NGOs and creation of a home page to ensure information exchange.
Project activities will take place in all of Latvia; organising seminars and consultations about protection of family interests. It is planned to develop methodological and information materials about inter-sector cooperation between NGOs and other organisations and involvement of volunteers. There will be trainings of NGO representatives and municipal officials on the necessity of cooperation and inclusion in public discussions in taking public decisions and solving problems. It is planned to participate in international networks.
In the result participation of NGOs and families on the local, regional, and national level will increase.
The target groups are employees of NGOs, families, and municipal officers.

Project results: The main goals of the project were:
- to establish the NGO Collaboration platform institutionally, technically and legally to ensure its active operations;
- to start and ensure the active operations of the NGO Collaboration platform.

The project goals are achieved as results of following activities:
 Development of NGO Collaboration platform and its technical support;
 Involvement of 12 new NGO;
 Annual informational and publicity events;
 Enhancing civil participation in family policy;
 Advocacy of families, monitoring of public administration performance;
 Active participating in inter-sector and interdisciplinary cooperation;
 Consulting support to NGOs, and families;
 Development and distribution of informational and methodological materials;
 Training of NGO staff, members and volunteers;
The activity program was implemented at the local, regional and national level. As a result, sustainable development of society was promoted und the civil participation of NVO and families at local, regional and national level increased.
