The aim of the project is to ensure efficient development of the operation of the Foundation in environmental education and Eco-certification initiatives.
The project will ensure strengthening of the Eco-school Programme in the status of environmental education in Latvia.
As for Eco-certification, it is necessary to increase the number of certified tourist accommodations and strengthen the Blue Flag programme by increasing its role in implementing local environmental activities and strengthening cooperation with local governments.
The target group is employees of municipalities, inhabitants of coastal municipalities, coordinators, teachers, pupils of Eco-school programme schools and Eco-councils, experts and employees of State authorities, coordinators of companies with good environmental practices, and representatives of mass media.

Project results: Operational objectives of the program was up to 2015 to strengthen the SWF institutional, financial performance of the United Nations substantive its program of activities of the UN Development of the United Nations to ensure the organization's activities the potential of creating the conditions for the implementation of full value.
Operational programs target group was non-governmental organizations (27) and their members: 6 employees and 37 volunteers. As well as 140 local employees (Campaign My Sea, ZK program activities), 980 Coastal Community residents, in 1128 Eco School program school and eco councils coordinators (Direct involvement of the database of information tools and the awards event with such content in the program), 550 teachers (direct involvement and training forum) , 793 school youth (direct involvement and training forum), 75 state government institutions, experts and employees (juries involvement and partnership in ensuring quality control), 80 Good environmental practices corporate CSR coordinators, 100 The media.

Operational programs for the achievement of the following results:
• In environmental education programmes as Eco schools and YRE the quantitative targets are being reached, also the capacity of providing content in programmes and financial stability of their activities are fundamentally improved.
• Eco certification programmes continued their growth, complemented with focus on qualitative targets set by work programme.
• FEE Latvia also have successfully developed its awareness raising and diverse initiatives beyond range of the programmes of FEE International, in example, campaign My Sea have become one of most renowned environmental campaigns in Latvia, with its data widely used in environmental policy making.
• With new cooperation framework of programmes work in Latvia, complemented by more developed corporate partnership experience, organisation can ensure financial stability of its activities in post-project period.

Operational program support has provided an opportunity to improve and develop existing programs and provide sufficient capacity for the organization of activities in the effective implementation, as well as the development of new innovative initiatives. As well as the program has been further strengthened and developed in co-operation program for quality control within the institutions, thus creating a transparent and open implementation programs and mechanisms. The project has made a significant contribution to the development of environmental communication, promoting environmental education and access to environmental information and higher quality, which is essential for a public participation process to promote environmental management. Ultra-high performance programs evaluated during the Eco School program and campaign My Sea the activity of environmental communication and FEE International programming principles relevant environmental problematic updating, including a series of questions, which focused on environmental issues in the context of a discussion of the principles of good governance role.
